Tight binding. 3/4 leather binding on the cover. Cover has hand marbled paper. Both inside covers have hand marbled paper. The cover binding has 5 upraised horizontal ribs. The top pages have gold gilt. Gold gilt on linings of the covers. Gold gilt on the title and the author. Some wear on edges of the cover. See photo of the condition of the book. This book was specially bound by Amilcare Pizzi Milan. It must have been given as a special gift to someone. We could not find this type of binding on this book anywhere on the web. A very rare copy done in the old world tradition!
